Statement by Bruce Grimley. 1st March 2012
Inner Game NLP training has been successfully trading between January 2006 and February 2012. On 27th October 2005 I, (Bruce Grimley) was told in writing by the Patent Office in the UK; “The term “Inner Game” also appears to be one that is used in trade to describe such services and as such should be free for others to use in the legitimate course of their trade” (Search and advisory service report 2005).
Based upon this advice I and Dave Woolley, in good faith, started the provision of NLP training under the name “Inner Game” in 2006. We did so because the term emphasised the fundamental psychological truth that unless our conscious behaviour and language is FULLY supported by the unconscious mind our efforts will not be elegant and consequently problematic.
On Tuesday 21st February 2012 Timothy Gallwey of “The Inner Game” emailed me and asked me to remove the trademarked phrase. Tim told me that his intention was to ensure the Market Place is not confused and that his name is not devalued.
I would like to make it clear to all parties I am happy to do this. I would also like to emphasise to those who have come to this webpage consequent to any Inner Game reference in published material of either Bruce Grimley or David Woolley, (2006-2012) neither of us have any association nor have had with Timothy Gallwey.
Inner Game NLP training which has been trading out of the United Kingdom between the years of 2006 – 2012 will now trade under the name of Achieving Lives Ltd. The service to our customers under this name will remain exactly the same and you can view for yourself what some of our delegates have said on the Achieving Lives NLP testimonial web page.
