Your Inner Game

Ralph Waldo EmersonIn order to have an excellent outer game you must first have an excellent inner game. The concept of the inner game has been around since the philosopher Hippocrates identified four inner games around 400 BC. These 4 games; choleric, Sanguine, Phlegmatic, and Melancholic have been integrated into modern personality theory as an interaction between the dimensions of Introversion/Extraversion and Stable/Neurotic. Recently however the concept of inner game has been brought into public focus by sports and business coaching psychologists.
